The reinforced concrete main structure of the new sintering chimney at Hubei Guangda Pipe's 1-million-tonne-per-year ductile iron pipe green intelligent manufacturing project has been successfully topped out, marking a key milestone in the project's construction.

The 60-metre reinforced concrete chimney is a critical component of the sintering system, responsible for flue gas emission from the sintering process.

The project, located in Shishou City, Hubei Province, is a key investment attraction initiative with a Phase I investment of approximately RMB 5.8 billion. It includes a 680m³ blast furnace, sintering furnace, and ductile iron pipe production lines, with commissioning expected by the end of 2026.

Once completed, the project will produce 1 million tonnes of ductile iron pipes annually, with an estimated output value of RMB 6 billion.

 Phase II will expand into clean energy and high-end castings, establishing a dual-driven model of "green manufacturing + smart energy." Upon full completion, the project is expected to generate annual revenue of RMB 7.835 billion, with net profit of RMB 1.19 billion and tax contributions of RMB 760 million, creating approximately 2,000 jobs.
